Prevail
Partners.

Small and mid-sized businesses carry operational inefficiencies that previously required headcount or consulting the business could not justify. Current tools, AI among them, now make many of those problems economically viable to address. We identify where that shift applies and implement at a scale appropriate to the operation.

We are in our build phase, taking on a limited number of engagements.

§ 01  ·  Founder Brisbane · April 2026

Prevail Partners is led by Roy McPherson.

Roy's background spans more than twenty years in enterprise operations and technology, most of it at Rio Tinto, a global mining company. Roles have ranged from shop floor through to strategic digital transformation, with recent work designing and deploying production AI systems across operational sites.

Alongside that, he has owned and operated small businesses across fitness, services, and software.

He has seen how large organisations deliver under pressure and discipline, and he has operated small businesses through both prosperous and lean periods.
Operator perspective

Prevail brings that perspective to the operational decisions small and mid-sized businesses are making now, including where AI delivers a measurable return. The work is practical: identifying where current tools create genuine value for the business, and implementing them at a scale appropriate to the operation.

§ 02  ·  Current Work Brisbane · April 2026

One client in the fitness franchise category.

We are delivering a vendor-side sale program across their sale timeline. Lessons from that engagement are directly shaping our first productised services.

As of April 2026, we have capacity for a small number of additional engagements.

§ 03  ·  What We Do Six Service Lines

Six service lines, each designed to deliver a specific outcome.

Some are productised and near release. Others are bespoke and scoped to the engagement.

  • § 01

    AI Foundation Engagement

Most small businesses now have AI scattered across tools, tabs, and team members, with little coherence. We help owners consolidate that activity into a single, governed AI stack that supports the core operational workflows of the business. Delivered over four to six weeks, with documentation the team can use without ongoing consultant involvement.

  • § 02

    Local Market Activation

Owner-operated businesses with a physical catchment often rely on intuition about their local market. We replace that with a structured local market assessment: competitor positioning, pricing benchmarks, review sentiment, and customer profile for the catchment area. The output is a concise brief and a positioning recommendation the owner's marketing team or agency can act on directly.

  • § 03

    Market Intelligence Report

Business owners need clarity on their competitive landscape without the time or budget for a traditional research firm. We combine targeted web scraping, AI-assisted analysis, and direct sector experience to produce a Market Intelligence Report: a clear view of competitor positioning, customer sentiment, and category dynamics. Delivered within three to four weeks, including a one-hour working session to apply the findings.

  • § 04

    Inbox Agent

Many business owners spend two to three hours a day on email that could be handled by policy. The Inbox Agent is a managed AI agent that reads incoming mail, categorises it against a policy developed with the owner, drafts responses in the owner's voice, and surfaces only the messages that require a human decision. Deployment takes one week, and the agent refines with owner feedback from there.

  • § 05

    The Long Game

Owners preparing to sell a business often find their most valuable information and commercial narrative distributed across systems and individuals. The Long Game is a sale-enablement engagement that produces the data room, the commercial narrative, and the operational state required to maximise sale value at the point of buyer engagement. Built to run alongside the vendor's existing broker or advisor. Currently piloted in the fitness franchise category.

  • § 06

    Websites and Landing Pages

Small businesses often rely on a website that was built years ago and no longer reflects what they do or how they want to be found. We design and build focused websites and campaign landing pages, with an emphasis on clarity, lead capture, and measurable performance. Built in modern frameworks with analytics configured from launch, so the owner can see what is working.

§ 04  ·  Register Interest Conversation First

Every enquiry starts with a conversation.

Tell us about your business and the problems you are working to address. We reply to every enquiry and begin with a conversation: what you are working on, what is taking time or costing money, and what a good outcome would look like.

We only propose an engagement where there is a clear fit. You are never committed to a solution that is not right for your situation.
